Review: We once again travel into space and not an ISS in sight. This is Deep Space Battle VR and it does exactly as its name suggests. It’s an all out shooter-em-up set in space. You have to become earth’s mightiest hero in a fast-paced virtual reality space shooter, using your wits and your weapons as a lone space pilot defending against the invasion of the Shadow Fleet.

The game itself is a little slow moving, travelling in the direction you are facing. Then when you get an enemy in your crosshairs it will start to fire automatically. It would have been good to have had some control over where you fire or where you travel, but it still works OK. It does have to be said that everything looks amazing! With a choice of spaceships to fly and a range of environments to fly them in, it all looks amazing for sure. Once again space simulation games always seem to look and feel the best on Google Cardboard. Pop in some headphones, pick a comfortable chair and you will soon believe you are Han Solo piloting the Millennium Falcon for a battle to the death. The lack of controller support make this space shooter limited, but it’s still fun to play.
