Review: There are a few “underwater” adventure games out there with the best of them being games like ‘FREEDIVER: Triton Down‘ and ‘Subnautica‘. Sadly ‘Deep Diving VR’ isn’t as good as those, but there are some things to enjoy here. For a start, the game looks OK most the time and at rare times it looks great. In fact, the game as a whole is quite good with loads of big environments to explore and plenty to see and do. But as with the other games I have mentioned in this review this game is not made for VR and boy does it show. At times playing with the motion controllers can be down-right frustrating to play and other times it just feels wrong somehow. But yet when played with a gamepad…I do still think it is worth the money. Sure, there are better games in the same genre, but if you have already played those this might be worth a look, even at full price. It’s just that it isn’t as good as those previously mentioned.
