Description: In this VR only game, you try to avoid getting hit by Tomatoes and other food. Cats might also be thrown at you. You can slice food being thrown at you or you can catch it, but if you slice a cat you lose a lot of health points. If you catch a Cat you get all your health back. There are 5 difficulties with 5 unlockable weapons and 10 levels with music.
Review: If the classic game of Fruit Ninja VR was made again with a budget of 50p ‘Death By Tomato’ might be what it looked like. Yes, it is a fruit chopping game in which tomatoes and various other things (like cats and pizza) are also thrown at you. There seems to be no high score, you can’t be damaged despite having a health bar and the gameplay is so lame it made me want to pelt tomatoes at the developer! OK, so I liked some of the swords and the terrible B-Movie style acting did make me smile, but there is nothing here to justify the £5.79 asking price. If it had been a freebie I might have given I the thumbs up, but any cost puts me off doing so.
