Description: Deadness is a VR game of the horror genre that will literally knock you off your feet. Experience real fear and anxiety helplessly confined to a wheelchair in a super-realistic VR environment. Not for the faint of heart! This is no game anymore!

Review: ‘Deadness’ is a puzzle-based horror experience in which you play the role of a wheelchair bound person who is trying to find out what happened to him as you wake up in an abandoned research facility and things are not good there at all. While the game is a little too dark most of the time what you can see does look pretty great! (in a dark and desolate way) and there is enough jump scares and creepy noises to keep you on edge from start to finish.

When it comes to the gameplay things are not so good as the wheelchair can be frustrating at times and doesn’t feel realistic at all. But the lack of ability to run away does make those slow monster chase scenes a little more exciting. There is a lack of content here to justify the high £19.49 price tag, but if you are willing to take your time finding all the audio tapes to reveal the whole story you could well drag it out a little more. I do recommend this game, but you really will enjoy it a lot more if you can get it a lot cheaper. I got this for £15.20 in a sale and I wish I had paid less. If you liked the classic VR horror game ‘Mental Asylum VR‘ this is well worth a look.
