Review: For an indie shooter, I have to say Deadly Cryptids is way better than I thought it was going to be and has a sort of “Dune” feel to it. While there isn’t a whole lot of content here the desert theme does mean the game looks good without being noticeably sparse. The guns and enemies all feel fine without being anything special, but it’s an enjoyable shooter from start to finish. It’s just a shame it does last long enough to justify even half the current £9.29 asking price. But if you do like your shooters this is well worth a look at the right price.
