Description: Dark is unique VR experience, in which players can play one of three classes, the wizard, the paladin, or the rogue. Frontier is the first of many levels of the game and acts as an introduction to Dark, and the game’s mechanics. Player sail onto a mysterious island, rife with dangers, riddled with mystery and waiting to be explored. This game will be expanded upon and is currently still in Alpha.
Review: There is no denying it. Dark: Frontier was a grand idea of the likes that any big game company would have been proud to make it. But that is this games problem. It was a grand idea by a bedroom indie developer. It was never going to be as big an adventure nor as open-world like as we all wanted it to be. Yes, it is free, but the game has been left in such a raw state that it is hard to recommend it even when it is 100% free! I just wish someone had picked this up and turned it into something more amazing as the idea is sound, but the implementation is nowhere near being considered finished and yet it is pretty much abandoned anyway.
