Review: I normally like my tower defence games and I do feel it is a much-overlooked genre of game in the VR market. But ‘Cyber Defense 2088’ really does put me off it. This retro-style tower defence game sees you trying to stop balls going through tubes with a small collection of turrets, set over 24 levels. It’s boring, it’s barely playable and there is almost no content, shine or effort of any kind here. But the final nail in this games coffin is the £15.49 price tag. To be honest, unless this game was free I simply can’t recommend it to anyone. I’m all for bedroom indie games, but this game just doesn’t have any fun to combat the lack of everything else.
