Description: Take to the high seas as a swashbuckling buccaneer. In Cutlass, you are a pirate! Grab the helm to sail your ship around an archipelago, fighting off rival pirates with your cunning and broadside cannons. Try to beat your previous times in time trial mode, racing your ship through checkpoints to reach the finish line.
Review: Cutlass is a pirate ship action game and you need to be aware that there is no teleportation nor movement system here. You will need a 2m SQ playspace just to get to play it. But if you do have the room I have to say this is a pretty good game and it looks OK as well. Firing the cannons is the best thing about this game, then jumping onto the steering wheel to turn about for another hit on the enemy. I feel the lack of multiplayer mode is what really holds this game back from being something great. While I did indeed have fun £14.99 is just too much if you ask me. I would try and get it for a fraction of that price to make sure you really get your money’s worth. But as I said at the start, just be aware of the playspace requirements.
