Description: Cubes is a puzzle game that can only comfortably exist in virtual reality. Incorporating a mix of spatial reasoning and logic, Cubes presents a series of multidimensional puzzles using sets of mysterious, floating cubes. You must interact with the cubes and create patterns to fulfil each puzzle and progress. A thoughtful, room-scale VR experience, using the space and motion of virtual reality to pit you against a new kind of puzzle.
Review: While it has to be said ‘Cubes’ is ridiculously overpriced there is a fun little puzzle game to be found here. It is very much like some others I’ve played (like Pivross) in which it is Picross only in 3D (Think Minesweeper only in VR.) it’s a fun game to play, but sadly there is nowhere near enough levels here to justify the current £7.19 asking price and the quality of the experience definitely doesn’t justify it, but if you see this for sale for a quid or less I would give it a go. It does take a little getting used to, but in the end, I feel most people will have some fun here.
