Review: Cries Of Harvest is a nod to the days of Sega Megadrives and NES’s., but yet still makes it look pretty good with some deep 3D effects, but yet still all done in the form of sprites. While the game is a nice surprise to look at, the gameplay will leave you wanting a lot so much more than it offers you.

With only 2 game modes and no restart points, you just have to keep playing through the arcade mode until you finish it (very much like you had to in 8-Bit days). Appart from the deep 3D effect there really isn’t anything else that makes this game made for VR. It’s still a bit of fun to play and well worth seeing, but once you get over the crazy 8-Bit style graphics you are not left with much at all.
