Description: In Conrun you can race on one of many running tracks or you can compete in a virtual gym against AI by doing pushups, squats, crunches and other exercises. You really do a workout. You unlock each stage by winning the previous one. Even if you lose, you will still get XP that unlocks cosmetic items. The more you do the more XP you will get.
Review: ‘Conrun Virtual Gym’ is a virtual workout in which you will be doing some running along a virtual track, doing some exercises and even some virtual weights. I’m all for indie games being a little basic, but when a game is this basic and still costs £3.99 it does put me off recommending it to anyone. Sure, you might still get your money’s worth from it if you used it more than once, but the basic nature of the app doesn’t encourage you to do so. I just wish this had more polish and indeed better options and exercise guidance. In fact, just about anything that justifies the small asking price. Until it does I would leave this alone and buy a nice healthy salad with the money.
