VR News Flash: The Coca-Cola Co. has been showcasing 3 different designs of packaging that each can be recycled to make a Google Cardboard viewer! One of them is so simple it looks like a basic push and fold method. While none of these will be appearing in the shops anytime soon, it does show the possibilities of this kind of packaging.
Over the next few years you will probably see hundreds of brands take this idea on in their own unique ways, but let us hope Coca-Cola are one of the first to get it out and onto the shelves. The more Google Cardboard viewers are placed in the public eyes the better it will be for the VR community as a whole. It’s just a shame we are all Pepsi drinkers here in the VR office.
