Description: Located in the Blue Mountains National Park and a three hour drive from Sydney, Claustral Canyon is a unique example of a pristine, remote, and very inaccessible slot canyon. Accessing Claustral Canyon requires one to abseil or rappel down three hazardous waterfalls. Doing this without canyoneering guides is highly inadvisable. For most visitors to the region, Claustral Canyon is a mysterious place, hidden in the depths of the Australian Bush and existing only in one’s imagination. This experience allows anyone to enter and explore a large section of the canyon with complete freedom. You can go right close to the pools and waterfalls, experience the magnificent sun shafts that come down through the towering ferns from above, and learn about all the challenges we faced with the humid and damp conditions as well as the tiger snakes. Experience Claustral Canyon without the discomfort of actually being there in a heavy, damp wetsuit and feel what a true adventure can be like!
Review: From the people who brought you Horseshoe Bend and Patagonia comes another one of the wonders of the world and this time it is the Claustral Canyon located in Australia. This is a collection of 360 photos, videos and also a very impressive 3D render of the Claustral Canyon itself that you can fly around freely. The notation is quite funny and casual and the visuals are pretty impressive. While short it is a free experience and well worth downloading by anyone with an interest in this location of the others they cover in different apps.
