First Impressions: Sadly my dreams of a premeum headset that is worth its money shatter before my eyes when I first picked it up and out of its box. With a very cheap looking rubber coated plastic body I have to say it looks nowhere near the price we paid for it. But then things start to get a bit better as I see the glossy blue front facial that to be fair makes the headset look stunning (if looking at the front only) it even has a logo that lights up making it look even better. The thing is, on first impressions you can’t help but feel a little disappointed with this headset. Then…once you start to really look around it and inspect it, the quality can be found.
CEEK VR Box Contents
- Headset
- Microfiber Cloth

Features Review: This is not an area where the CEEK does well. With only an adjustable pupil distance (not independent) and focus distance adjustment (again not independent) to talk about. There is no screen touch or magnet switch, no cooling fan, no nothing! But I suppose you could always include the little logo light, but that is not much of a feature.

Review: Make no mistake about it. This headset is going to make it into our top 10 best headsets of all time, but it’s just a matter of what position. Sure it doesn’t look like much at first and sure its lack of features does let it down. But looking past those flaws into the viewing experience it offers is when this headset really shines. With a wide FOV, crystal clear display and even fairly comfortable face padding it feels great to wear and even better to use. I will also give it points for style because front on, it looks amazing especially in low light with the logo light on. Sure it costs far too much and it’s far from being perfect, but if I had to choose between this or the Carl Zeiss VR One Plus, I would choose this headset every time.
