Review: While Casino VR Poker on the Gear VR isn’t perfect, it is pretty great. It’s so much more than most other VR poker apps, its social, it’s language universal, its relaxing, fun and dare I say deadly simply to play. With amazing tournaments, surprisingly telling avatar relations and rather nice graphics and poker room environments this is how poker games should be, and in VR it works surprisingly well. Sure, there are some in-app purchases for those of us who suck at poker (myself for sure), but you do get a lot of virtual currency for each real-world pound. If you enjoy a game of poker this game is a must, even if you only enjoy the odd game. At the end of the day, it’s 100% free to try so what is the harm in giving it a go!
