Review: Cargo Racing VR is not your traditional race game. Sure, the goal of the game is still to make it from A-Z in as quick a time as possible, but you are also carrying cargo boxes which can fall out around the corners if you are going too fast and even jump out if you go over a hump or jump too fast. So the problem is you have to tie up how fast you go to how stable you are driving as each box left in the back of the truck when you get to the finish line will give you 1-second off the total time.
For the first few missions you don’t really benefit from it being in VR, but later levels where you have to look at the road ahead means you do indeed get a good use of VR from this game. It looks pretty good, is super easy to play, very hard to master and there is even a worldwide leaderboard. Sadly there isn’t even half as many tracks and cars as I might have wanted, but the super-low price does rectify this.
