Review: Playing Bomberman in VR might have sounded like a good idea for a VR game (and in the right hands it might have been). But ‘Boom! Maze’ is what we have ended up with and let me tell you it is just as diabolical as you would have expected. I don’t mind the basic cartoon style of the graphics (I especially like the Festive level), but the gameplay is where this game falls apart. Its no fun at all and with no multiplayer mode you are left with brian dead AI and no challenge whatsoever. Then you throw in the high £7.19 price tag and you have a game that is best off blowing itself up. I might be good one day I suppose, but it needs a lot of work before it gets to that point.
