Review: Being honest I was indeed pleasantly surprised by ‘Boom Boomerang’. Its an action game that is pretty easy to get into, but it does take a good while to master provided you are willing to play it for that long. The main idea of the game is to break cubes open with your 2 Boomerangs (one blue, the other pink), while at first, you will be chucking them in a straight line, you will soon learn how to get them to take out several cubes at once. There are different shapes of Boomerang to unlock, but none of them changes the style of gameplay. With its crazy particle effects and neon colours, the game is indeed fun to play, but even that high level of polish doesn’t make this game worth the current £9.99 asking price. Do consider grabbing this in a sale as it has a touch of originality about it and its surprisingly fun to play if you let yourself get into it.
