Review: BombSquad is a sort of all out battle game where the idea is to kill your opponent by any means necessary. You can kick them, punch them, throw them off the edge of the playing area or you can even throw various bombs at them. This is all out war and online there are no friends.
With various bombs and deaths to be seen this is a small but perfectly formed game that will keep a group of friends amused for hours. It’s fast, violent fun that nails it in multiplay mode, but does leave the single player version a looking a little empty.
While little more than the Gear VR version it does at least capture the fun. This is a game best played with friends or with random online battles. I’m not really sure what I would have wanted extra for the Oculus Rift version, but whatever it was this game didn’t have it. Yes, it’s fun, yes it’s slightly addictive, but it is also basic looking and limited in single person gameplay. Worth a download? Yes, provided you have someone to play it with.
