Review: I have to say ‘BattleGroupVR’ is not the game I thought it was going to be. I was expecting an action space shooter, but the game ends up being an RTS of sorts with elements of space action at the same time. It’s not just the genre that surprised me, it was also the controls with a combination of voice commands and virtual bridge button pressing. It really did feel like I was part of some sort of space battle and the potential for this game to be something great was certainly there. But there really isn’t much single-player content at all, in fact, you can see all this game has to offer in just an hour which does leave the price tag looking a little high. Personally, I would wait for a sale for this, or even better try and get some friends to play it as well, because I would imagine the online play would more than makeup for the lack of content.
