Review: Battle Planet reminds me of classic games like Super Smash TV, Gauntlet and the classic Robotron: 2084 merged with Super Mario Galaxy. Put simply its an all-action shooter that sees you fighting wave after wave of planetary invaders and while this epic battle is going on you still need to defuse several bombs! That might all sound crazy, but the genius of this game is just how simple it is to play, all the while being quite deep in gameplay and strategy. It also has to be said that this is a great looking game and some of the 3D VR effects look amazing. But even with all those pro points, with no multiplayer options I still find it hard to recommend this game based on its current asking price. Grab this game in a sale and you will have yourself a great game at the right price.
