Review: For those who don’t know Red Cliff is in fact a Chinese epic war film that was based on the Battle of Red Cliffs (AD 208–209) and the events at the end of the Han dynasty and immediately prior to the Three Kingdoms period in imperial China. The game takes the same time in history but puts you in the middle of it. The game is mostly mele combat, but there is also some bow and arrow shooting to mix things up a little bit. Graphically the game looks good, but I do feel the action lets it down a bit as it just feels lame all the time. I certainly wouldn’t want to pay £23.79 for this, but it is still worth a look. So try and grab it in a sale for the lowest price you can.
