Description: Battle Dome is a 5 v 5 competitive SciFi VR shooter (There is a mouse and keyboard mode, but VR is recommended). You must work with your teammates to get to your opponent’s base and destroy their core before they destroy yours. You must also spread your team’s colour (if playing a colour map), since you can only teleport onto your teams coloured tiles. Battle Dome also features trackpad locomotion, which can be used to any non-colour map.
Review: Battle Dome had a lot going for it when it was first released. It had online play (this is no longer available), it has a good player base (also no longer active) and while it looked basic it had it where it counts and that is playability. I loved the movement system that was a basic teleport method, but you had to change the square you wish to move to, to the colour of your team. Its was like paintball meets Tron. These days, of course, it does look very basic indeed and with almost no good single-player options this game is pretty much dead. If you see it in a sale for a quid or less maybe take a look, but otherwise, I would stick a fork into this game as it’s done.
