Review: Over the last few Batman games, Rocksteady has shown people just how good a Batman licenced video game can be and well done to them. But Batman VR is something very different and while this isn’t the VR game we all wanted, it’s a pretty good short experience. From Wayne Manor to the Batcave, there are loads of great locations to see and while the game is short, what there is looks simply amazing. The story goes that you need to find out who attacked Nightwing using your grapple gun, the classic Batarangs and even a forensic scanner. This isn’t the fighting / all-out action we have come to expect, but rather a slower-paced science and detective-style gameplay. The good news is that this slow pace allows you to take in the gorgeous graphics and sublime sound effects at your leisure. I think this is indeed a good experience that is sadly far too short (like most VR games are at the moment), so don’t pay £14.99, just wait for a sale for half-price or better.
