Review: ‘Basault VR’ is supposed to be a fun, spiderman swinging action shooter with a sci-fi theme to it all. What you end up with is clearly a collection of assets thrown together to make a bland and unexciting game. Worst of all is the controls. With grab used for just about everything ignoring the other buttons and making the game feel uncontrollable and on the Oculus Rift the guns sit at an unnatural angle as well making the game feel worse than it already is. While I have only seen a bit of the game due to constantly having to start in the same place over and over I can easily see there is nothing here worth £12.39 and certainly not a lot here worth recommending at any price. This is one of those games I will get getting a refund on, it really is that bad.
