Description: Barbaria is a VR combat/builder mashup. Attack other players, build defenses, and equip your team as you compete to be the Mightiest in Barbaria!
Review: ‘Barbaria’ is a Dungeons and Dragons style single player, or online PVP game that sees you building up a base with traps and other characters and you can then “possess” them and go first-person mode and attack invading enemies yourself. To be fair the action side of things is pretty satisfying with my giant “troll” like arms punching the little orcs far into the distance, it was both instantly fun and satisfying. In the later levels your get axes and other weapons and the gore really ramps up and I had a blast taking them all down.
Sure, the graphics are a little basic and the lack of other players is also disappointing, but if you can get some friends to play it as well and you both love D& D style games you will get your money’s worth here. I do highly suggest you play this game now rather than later because there are at least some other players online and that makes this game truly worth owning. Later down the line that might not be the case.
