Description: Play either backgammon, chess or checkers against a virtual opponent, in a courtyard setting. There are 3 difficulty settings available, as well as a two player mode, using the same computer. The game is playable on a desktop screen using a mouse, or alternatively in virtual reality, using the HTC Vive.
Review: On the whole, I have to say ‘Backgammon, Chess & Checkers’ is a pretty well-polished game. It has the 3 classic boardgames that its title suggests and you can play 2-player using the same PC (one in VR and the other using the PC). Also, it looks good with all the games taking place in a sunny garden scene making it quite peaceful and relaxing. But sadly it is massively overpriced given the lack of any online multiplayer options, as well as the lack of content (things like different board layouts and designs as well as choices in scenery). If this was a quid or two I would happily suggest you go for it, so maybe it is one to keep an eye out for in a sale.
