Description: BAAM SQUAD is a VR zombie co-op shooter following a band of four brave agents seeking to shoot, loot and run in order to solve the mystery case of Santana’s Sweets Factory: The place where it’s been taken over by zombies eating human flesh and candies.
Select your hero, team up with other players, and navigate through infinite waves of zombies. Scout the locale and smash the undead to protect yourself, using a diverse selection of weapons ranging from classic pistol to leading-edge laser gun.
Review: While I do feel ‘BAAM SQUAD’ could have been so much more of the game it currently is, for now, you are left with an OK voxel looking shooter that is oddly satisfying to play, but I just know it would be a lot better to play with friends. The gameplay is king here and it really can get oddly exciting which is rare for an indie voxel shooter. The problem is, without anyone else online it soon gets quite boring and not worth even half the current £11.39 asking price, but grab this for a quid or two and you will be in for a little treat of a game, that does need a lot of work, but is more than playable as it is.
