Presentation: The ASUS HC102 might have a budget price tag, but it is a pretty good unboxing experience with the sleek black box and carry handle with a large image of the headset on top. This is a headset that is store ready with all the information you might need to know right there on the box. Opening the lid you are confronted with two compartments, one with an image of the headset on top and the other with an image of the controllers on top. All the parts are incased in foam and the whole box feels super-sturdy. Of all the WRM headsets this is by far my favourite one to unbox.

Review: While the ASUS HC102 isn’t the most comfortable WRM headset it still delivers a pretty great experience given the low price tag. Sure, it doesn’t hold up to today’s headsets, but at the time it was pretty usable. The controllers felt nice to use and while the resolution isn’t the best nor is the FOV you could still find yourself becoming immersed in the right app. Sadly again (as with all WMR headsets) the tracking wasn’t the best at all. While this isn’t the best WMR headset it certainly isn’t the worse and even now for the right price, this could still be worth picking up.
