Review: ‘Arcaxer’ is a retro style turn-based VR RPG played in an isometric style which I have to say I was enjoying at first. Even some of the weapons and enemies look good at times which is a nice contrast to the retro style gameplay. While I can easily see myself enjoying this game and indeed losing myself for a good while within its retro walls there is simply no way on earth this game is worth the current £19.49 asking price. In fact, even half of that would struggle to give this game value for money, there simply isn’t enough content, variety nor polish to pay much more than a third of its current price. Until it does get a massive price drop I sadly can’t recommend it.
