Description: This game is easy to operate. The player could move his or her head to control the little fish. Eat the same level fish for level-up, dodge the BOSS, strike a mortal blow to the BOSS when you’re levelled up, and win the king position. Plenty of tasks are contained in this game, and you can obtain different interests by collecting stars to unlock new fish kinds.
Review: Aquarium War VR is a classic game of small fish eats other fish and grows to become the big fish game and it’s been done a hundred times before. But not quite like this. Using the Gear VR Motion controller I have never felt so in control and amused with being able to control a cartoon style fish. It is one of those things that might sound silly, it might even look silly on video, but it feels oddly wonderful. Sadly the rest of the gameplay mechanics do leave a lot to be desired and the lack of sound effects is a real shame, but it didn’t stop me from having a ton of fun controlling my little fish around the 3D environment. This is a game that shows off the use of the motion controller rather than VR, but that novelty factor should be enough to make most people happy they brought the game.
