Review: Apocalypse Mechanism is a surprisingly good looking on-rails shooter that does throw a lot at you from the off. You play the role of a mech operator and while you will need to shoot the enemy yourself the giant robot will also help a little bit. Sadly the game is 100 miles an hour from the word go and while that is a good thing in other games in this one it means the action soon gets rather boring. While there isn’t anywhere near enough content to justify the £11.39 asking price, it is worth picking up for a few quid so do keep an eye out for this in a sale.
