Some people use their VR headsets way beyond that the battery time permits them and that is where this accessory comes into it. In short, it is a small, plastic clip that is designed to hold your battery pack on the top of your head rather than having wires coming down and the battery pack sitting in your pocket. To be fair to this device it does work as intended and it clips nicely to the Oculus Quest headset. But in terms of long-wearing (which is the whole reason you would buy this accessory anyway), it doesn’t offer that much comfort with the silicone protective pad rubbing against the head.
Is The AMVR Powerbank Fixing Bracket Worth Buying?
As you can already see, we have given this a Bronze award and that is mostly down to the price. While I can see it being useful for some people when it comes to long-term use it really isn’t all that comfortable which does defeat the object of having it.
