Description: Alice VR is a story-driven exploration game rich with puzzles and designed to be a singular VR adventure. Game is inspired by the famous Lewis Carroll’s novel “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, taking its characters and themes to a new science-fiction setting. Enjoy beautiful graphics, atmospheric, electronic soundtrack and lose yourself in the world of Alice VR.
An unexpected malfunction forces your ship’s AI to wake you from the cryosleep. You have to make an emergency landing on the nearby planet. Your goal here is simple: find enough fuel to escape. This straightforward task gets complicated when you realize that all of the planet’s citizens had disappeared in mysterious circumstances. Will you discover the planet’s secret? Are you ready to face the challenges ahead? Follow the white rabbit into the unknown – the future is in your hands.
Review: Much like Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, this is a confusing game that is for sure. There are moments of pure genius and times when your jaw hits the floor as you are fully immersed in the game world. Then there are times when the “game” is so boring and buggy that you wish you had brought the book instead of this game. This is a game that some will hate and some might love, but sadly I am in the hate camp. It just feels too short, too unfinished to justify its own asking price, but do keep an eye out for it in a sale as paying just a quid or so might make you feel a little better if you hate the game as much as I did.
