Description: The future. The last decades have been devoted to the creation of an perfect artificial intelligence called P.A.I. The main purpose of it’s creation was to control central military station. The system did not give a single failure for 3 years of continuous operation.

After some time there began to occur interruptions in connection with artificial intelligence of station. Finally, the connection with station was completely lost. The highest military authority under the control of the Earth immediately sent to the scene a team of the best technicians to determine the cause of the loss of communication and its early restoration. For several days, contact with them has been lost and there is no news. Commander-in-Chief of the Intergalactic Army orders Captain Parker, the pilot with experience, go to the place on the given coordinates and find out what actually happened there, fix the problem and report to the headquarters.

Review: AI Rebellion gives you an opportunity to find yourself in the open space face to face with danger in the role of intergalactic pilot. When the galaxy in danger because of going crazy Artificial Intelligence there is the only way to take the helm, set coordinates of destination point and enter into unequal battle with a squadron of fighters under the control of AI, overcome all obstacles and save the day.

Played using the Oculus Touch controllers, it is done in a real world cockpit style. So grab a control stick and using it to turn your ship, then the triggers on each controller are a weapon. To put things simply you have to shoot anything that moves and avoid enemy fire. It’s your classic space shooter game, done with a unique control system and a foul-mouthed robot who keep talking about his balls.

This games biggest problem is with its control system. Sure, I can appreciate that they tried something unique, a sort of virtual shuttlecraft style controls system, but in the heat of the battle is when it fails the most. With a dial on each controller, they could have made it a lot easier to control, or at least given us the option to change control styles. Sadly it’s a great game otherwise and one that I would happily pay the asking price for. But at the moment that asking price is too high for something this difficult to control. But kudos to the developer for trying something new.
