Description: This is more than just an odd-looking strategy game, it is a strategy platform. Genetically engineer amorphic creatures & buildings, in real-time, in an endlessly open world that adapts to your playstyle. Share, and even battle your designs. How much will they be worth?
Review: While Adapt or Perish looks like it was made on the SNES rather than a high-end PC there is a lot to love about this game, especially if like myself you enjoy retro RTS games. While the graphics are indeed basic the gameplay is deeper than the Mariana Trench with a complex army builder system that offers so many options you might never use them all. While there are no missions as such, this is more a sandbox experience, you can still find yourself easily getting into the battles. I’m still not sure it is worth the current £7.19 asking price, but I would pay a few quid for it at least. It’s not going to be for everyone, but personally I enjoyed it. Not a lot! But it did spend a good amount of time playing it.
