Description: One day there was an accident in the ocean deep and a long established balance between the light and the darkness was destroyed. Review: Abyssus (Abyssus: Mysteries of the Deep to give it its full name) is a full motion adventure game that sees you exploring a drilling accident underwater. I was never quite sure what I was but I can only guess it was alien in origin. Once all the sections are accessible you do have a pretty large virtual environment to explore, but I did feel that it didn’t explain well enough what you had to do to unlock those sections. Putting that issue aside and I eventually realised what I had to do to unlock the different sections and I started to find the game oddly relaxing and peaceful. While sometimes far too dark and then far too light the game is tranquil from start to finish and when I started to really get into it I was lost inside of the virtual ‘accident’ for several hours. I feel this is indeed worth the money and worth a download, but you need to give this game time to get you hooked. But if you are looking for something a little more action-packed you might want to give this one a miss.
