Description: A-Tech Cybernetic is a first-person shooter built from the ground up for VR. It features two separate game modes: a classic swarm mode to put your shooting and survival skills to the test and a story mode that takes you to a futuristic biomedical company overrun by mutants. Control everything with real-life movements, interact with your surroundings as if they were actually there, experience a new kind of gameplay that’s more immersive than ever before, thanks to VR. Be the badass guy you always wanted to be.
Review: A-Tech Cybernetic VR is one of those rare hidden gems in the Steam store that is easy to recommend. Sure, it’s little more than yet another zombie wave shooter, but it is one of the best looking for sure and it is also one where the action feels great and is a real challenge, not some easy walkthrough. This is one survival shooter you will truly struggle to survive in! OK, so that is enough praise, time for some bad points.
First up, this has long been abandoned by its developers so don’t expect any updates or bug fixes, also it does feel a little unfinished at times meaning you will be able to pick holes in it if you look for them. Also, the £19.99 asking price is not worth it at all. In fact, I wouldn’t want to pay any more than half of that price and that is pushing it. But it is worth a look for sure if you can get it for the right price. People often overlook this game, but I think it is one to look out for.
