Description: Be a frog! Your HTC Vive/Oculus Rift is your window to the VRog world, allowing you to see through the eyes of a frog. Leap your way across the beautiful pond and see what’s on the menu.
Review: VRog is a game that puts you in the role of a virtual frog (in fact, it makes you look like a frog) and the mission is to eat as many bugs on the pond as you can. There are 2 game modes to play, survival sees you eating as many bugs as you can while avoiding the giant Crane bird that is quite frankly pretty frightening and then there is arcade mode that sees you trying to eat as many bugs as you can (no giant crane this time) within a set timer.
There is nothing complicated here. You look, lick, and move on to the next fly. You can also jump between lily pads by looking at them which is also a pretty cool touch, but be warned the jumps can make you feel a little nauseous. With several types of bugs to eat (some apparently nicer than others), this will keep most people amused for some time but is best passed between friends on a score challenge if you really want a good laugh from it.
While I personally would have preferred to have a button on a gamepad of the remote to shoot the tongue out, this is a still an easy to play and a super fun game that fulfils your lifelong dreams of becoming a frog. If you are looking for a game to play for an hour or so that will cheer you up, this is the one you want.
