Review: Fat City is a strategy game that is played in a similar style to Hitman Go. You play the role of a ‘hustler’ named Chris Knox and you have to do all sorts of criminal tasks to complete in each mission. From bank robbing, safe cracking and even a demolitions expert, there are 60 jobs that need to be done and you are the best man for the job. Luckily you do have a few toys like a hidden identity mask, smoke bombs and even a safe-cracking tool at your disposal.
With each mission, you start by seeing the full map and the locations you need to get to (plus the bonus collectable items) and you have to plot a route through it while avoiding the cops and some other traps. This is harder than it sounds as it is a matter of timing of the release of the plan and the planning of the route. Fat City is a good strategy VR game that has more than enough to keep you amused or a few hours. At times it can be a little glitchy, but on the whole, it works pretty well. Some might be put off by the graphics, but don’t let that stop you, underneath them is a fun game that will have you scratching your head more than once. If you like strategy games you will love this.
