Can you score gold in all six missions?
Review: In Space Marine Boot Camp you are going to be trained by a weird giant floating head in a series of mini-games that are going to make you a rough, tough space marine. With a rather shouty American style general in charge of you, the idea is to get at least a bronze medal in all the events: Target Practice, Asteroids, Chow Time, Transit Shuttle, Search and Destroy and lastly Human Centrifuge. The only way you can play the last one is getting gold on all the others.
Some of them are shooting games, one is a memory game and one is a flying space shooter game. It all looks OK and most the games are pretty easy to get the hang of. But getting those gold medals will not be easy, so be prepared to play for a while to get all 5 of them.
Most of them are fun mini games that are a great distraction and will keep you amused for a while. The only one that we did suffer a bit of VR sickness from was Search and Destroy, but we also found that game the most fun. With pretty good graphics, some truly funny moments and some nice satisfying sound effects like the lasers and explosions it is a free game that offers a lot and I would certainly have paid for a full game with more missions on it.
