Description: Travel to a distant world pulsing with life in this beautiful VR experience set to music. As the sun sets and the twin moons rise, luminescent flowers shine while sleek birds glowing with mystical patterns weave ever-changing shapes across the sky. And then, minute by minute, you realize that something miraculous is unfolding before you. All of it builds to a glorious and mysterious climax — and you can only witness all of this thanks to the Impossible Travel Agency, a transporting VR experience for anyone who loves music, beauty, and dreams. This is a narrative experience in VR lasting six minutes. Once you’ve taken the trip, you can customize it by using your own music and setting the duration to match your favourite album or playlist. The environment will react to your music and the story will adjust to your new duration for a transporting experience with the songs you love.
Review: The Impossible Travel Agency is not quite what you might think. While it sounds like something a company has made to justify their marketing budget, this is a one of a kind VR experience that can be experienced sitting, standing or even lying on the ground. For a total of six minutes (and a few seconds) you get a nice environment to watch and relax in.
With neon flowers changing colour, giant manta rays swimming in the night sky and scenery that looks like it was taken from the new Avatar film, this is an alien world and something no travel agency could offer you here on earth (hence the name). While it does come with music for you to listen to, you can also change the music to whatever you want giving you a virtual space to relax and unwind in.
Despite being able to insert your own music into this app I have to question whether or not anyone will want to go through it more than once. While it is one of the most beautiful looking experiences you will ever see, it is also short and lacking in content. If like me you enjoy having some VR space to relax and unwind in you will find this app the perfect retreat. Others looking for a more action-packed holiday are best advised to stay away.
