Description: The simulator can be used in both Screen mode and VR mode. In VR mode, you can maneuver the boat and operate the radar and the map with a gamepad. In both modes you can choose to be a passenger on the bridge while the autopilot steers the boat, or be the skipper yourself.
Review: ‘Marine Radar Simulator – VR’ is a virtual experience in which you get a chance to steer a boat and guide it using the radar and map. There are no missions here, no tutorial, just a boat with the possibility to guide it using a gamepad or touchpads. The graphics are very much PS1 in style and there is simply no effort at all here, but maybe I am missing the point of it. Maybe what I am looking at is genius and going to be useful for someone!
OK, so maybe someone out there will find this experience useful and maybe even fun, but most people won’t. There is simply nothing here in terms of quality, usefulness and overall content to justify the price tag especially when it comes to the quality of the experience. I’ve seen better wave psychics on free experiences, let alone paid ones! It’s not for me and definitely not something I will be recommending.
