It appeals to those who want to explore the breathtaking vistas at a relaxing pace, while the challenging routes attract gamers who like to master the skill of soaring through the towering environments at top speed.

Review: The idea of Windlands is pretty simple. You are given 2 grappling hooks and told to explore the game. Sure there are goals to he reached and all sorts of hidden objects to find, but you will mostly just have fun with it. Some of the most exciting challenges and goals in this game are the ones you set yourself. I will get to that high point, or I will speed run this path, things like that.

Ever wanted to know what it would be like to be Spiderman? This game is a close as you will ever get. It’s like a giant parkour experience set within a massive level. Windlands is one of those games that you really have to play yourself to truly appreciate. The graphics look basic and beautiful at the same time and the sounds make it even more immersive than it already is, the sound of the wind rushing through your hair is one of the best.

For me, Windlands is so much more than a game. It’s a freedom experience app that allows me to be as free as a bird, gliding like spiderman from location to locations. At times this can be fun and relaxing, at other times it feels scary and perilous. While some people will suffer from VR sickness with this game, it really is worth trying to push past it, because once you get into this game, you might never want to come out of it.
