Description: A first-person procedural VR roguelike shooter set in deep space. Find old wrecks adrift in space, board them and fight your way to the bridge to claim the salvage rights. Beware the Raiders – renegade AI, which have built themselves bodies from salvaged parts of the wrecks.
This is a combat-focused roguelike based around exploring derelict spaceships, while collecting salvage and loot to enable you to travel further and discover more weapons and equipment. Featuring highly detailed firearms with a lot of customisation.
Review: ‘Deep Space Salvage Crew VR’ is your pretty typical sci-fi shooter. Set aboard a spaceship you have to survive against waves of enemy robots while constantly trying to find ammo. For me personally there is nothing new, nothing that exciting about this game to make me want to recommend it. Don’t get me wrong, it looks OK and apart from a few glitches I didn’t encounter anything game-breaking, but it is all just “meh” and feels like very other sci-fi shooter. So if you are sick of them like I am maybe give this a miss. But it’s not the worst sci-fi shooter I suppose, but it definitely isn’t the best.
