Review: There is no easy way to say this, but ‘Pop Bowling VR’ is a broken mess of a game that should have been pretty simple and fun. It’s a Vr bowing game with 5 environments to bowl in with a few settings to play around with. There is no multiplayer here (other than passing the headset) and there aren’t any other playing options other than room-scale. And here forth lies the first problem. You need a pretty big playing space for this game, it shows your controllers (you can show one hand via options) and not virtual hands making it less realistic and I couldn’t even get some of the menu options to work!
Sure, the price is about right and I will even go so far as to say that it looks good! But with no movement options and no multiplier, it is hard to recommend this game given that most people won’t be able to play it as we don’t have the play space leaving the bowling balls out of reach. The good news is these are small issues that can be easily fixed, so maybe once they are we will take another look at it, but for now, I suggest you stay well clear of it.
