Description: Surflexers is a fast-paced VR game with puzzle elements where you have to make quick decisions and move along “lines” to advance in the game. Be careful some “lines” are lead to a dead end.
Review: ‘Surflexers’ is a rail-line obstacle course style game in which you will be zip-lining along some poles with your sticks or climbing about on the other little floating platforms. While it might sound like a fun idea for a game it is anything but. The first biggest issue is the lack of ANY instructions. You are supposed to just know what to do and how to do it. It looks me a while to work out how to jump across to things, let alone get any further into the game as the learning curve is ridiculous! The first level at least should have been all rails and maybe a little bit of jumping and besides there only seems to be 8 levels!
Let’s face it. I was never going to be coming into this review telling you how the game is worth the money, but it could at least have been fun and it sadly fails at that. This game will never be worth the current £9.29 asking price and to be honest, it really should have been free. But even if it was free I would still not be recommending it until some of the main issues are sorted out.
