Review: ‘Mythic Defender’ is a pretty traditional VR tower defence game. You have to stop wave after wave of monsters from breaching your “castle?” and you do this by placing down towers or taking them out yourself with your trusty bow and arrows. With its basic graphics and simplistic gameplay, this would have made for a fun little indie game, but sadly there is simply not enough content here to justify the price.
Look I get it. This game supposedly has 4 phases of development and maybe with time it might be worth the current £13.99 asking price. But that time is so far away I doubt it will ever reach that point and it most definitely isn’t worth it now. In fact, I wouldn’t say this game is worth more than a few quid in its current state. So for now I suggest you leave it alone and give it time to grow. I personally love my tower defence games, but I can’t find enough good reasons to recommend this to anyone.
