Review: If you don’t already know who Avicii is, you can stop reading this review already because without a love for the Swedish DJ’s music there is no point in playing this at all. But for those of us who do this app is a music rhythm-based series of games based around his music and indeed his life. While it isn’t much different that the Nintendo Switch version it looks and feels good enough to be worth the download and you can find yourself becoming immersed in the music (which is what the idea of the game is all about).

Sadly it is clear from the controls that this is NOT a game made for VR and it isn’t exactly natural feeling and there are no vibrations to give you a feel for the game. This is a game for fans of Avicii and only for fans of Avicii. But is it a good VR game? Yeah, it’s OK, but then again I am biased because I really love his music. But I am also willing to bet non-fans will find this game pretty…well…shallow.
