Description: The original Oakley Airwave took technology to new heights, and now Airwave 1.5 takes it to the summit of possibility: with a built-in heads-up display designed for an unobtrusive view, you can navigate resort maps, see jump analytics, speed, altitude and more. And all without taking your eyes off your run. Airwave delivers crisp, widescreen graphics. Due to the innovative prism technology, the displayed information will appear as though you’re looking at a 14-inch display from a distance of five feet, so refocusing your eye is not necessary. The heads-up display is designed for an unobtrusive view, and semi-flush lens geometry ensures wide peripheral vision.

HEADSET Review: While the Oakley ski goggles themselves are just as good quality as you might expect, it is the HUD that really fails in almost every way. If you can get it to connect to your smartphone in the first place don’t expect it to save or transmit any data as often things just don’t work and there is no support offered at all because even Oakley themselves pushed away from it! They might become a collector’s item one day, but apart from that, I wouldn’t recommend anyone buys these.
